Industrial Park – Logistics – Phuoc An Port Project
Phuoc An port is located upstream of Thi Vai – Cai Mep river, the investment certificate was issued in 2009, has an area of 183ha and a length of 3,050m.
The project includes 6 container terminals and 4 general terminals. When put into operation, the port can receive 60,000DWT cargo ships.
This project was approved by the Prime Minister through Decision No. 2190/QD-ttg dated December 24, 2009 on planning for the development of Vietnam’s seaport system to 2020, with an orientation to 2030.

Phuoc An port project has a favorable location, located in the center of the southern key economic region. This area has 70% of container cargo and 50% of general cargo throughput at Vietnam’s seaports. To date, the project’s pile pressing items have been completed about 90%
To date, the project’s pile pressing items have been completed about 90%. It is expected that in the second quarter of 2024, the first wharf of Phuoc An port will be put into operation.
When put into operation, Phuoc An port will help connect goods transport for Dong Nai province in particular and the Southeast region in general. In addition, the port will facilitate connection by road system, only about 6km from Ben Luc – Long Thanh highway.
– Convenient transportation, directly connected to LTDG, BLLT, National Highway 51, inter-port road, Long Thanh Airport.
– Convenient connection to the Mekong Delta, HCM, Binh Duong areas, reducing transportation distance compared to the CM-TV area, leading to competitive transportation costs.
– Near the source of goods are Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Phu My, Go Dau Industrial Parks… While Dong Nai does not have a large seaport, goods must go through HCM and BR-VT areas.
